About Kim Smallwood

The enchantment of New Mexico extends far beyond the delight of viewing the landscape. Once a person comes here, the enchantment remains in their mind and soul. My husband, Jason, came to Philmont as a scout and later worked in the summers on the ranch. The Sangre de Cristo Mountains and northern New Mexico, worked their magic on him so that when we met and married twenty years ago, he passed that lure to me and our family. He and two of our children did treks on Philmont. We all fell in love with the geography, the arts and culture, the people; we were indeed enchanted.

Once our children grew up, we followed our dreams, moving to Cimarron where Jason works full time for Philmont. Here, year round, we enjoy hiking with our dog Rex in the summer and skiing in the winter. Best of all, I’m extending my twenty-year career of following my passion of working in real estate sales. While continuing to work for Coldwell Banker, I have transferred from sales in Texas to New Mexico. As always, I work so that clients enjoy a happy, stress-free transaction with the best outcome possible. I love aiding my clients to find their own piece of enchantment in northern New Mexico.
